Both therapies provide pressure redistribution promoting both immersion and envelopment of the patient into the surface minimising high peak pressures under vulnerable areas of the patients skin.
The Comet II can accommodate patients assessed to be up to very high risk of developing pressure injuries or have existing tissue damage up to category IV with a patient weight limit of up to 200kg. The Comet II System comes with a choice of pump based on user and cost requirements.

Duel therapy modes to suit clinical needs
The system combines two therapy modes to suit both patient and clinical preference: Alternating Therapy and Continuous Low Pressure therapy.
Both therapies provide pressure redistribution promoting immersion and envelopment of the patient into the surface and optimise patient comfort.
Advanced IPM Technology
Intelligent Pressure Management (IPM) Technology monitors, detects and automatically responds to changes in patient weight, position and posture minimising high peak pressures under vulnerable areas of the patient’s skin. IPM technology saves power during cycling times - reducing stock and maintenance costs.
Choice of Pumps
The Comet II System comes with a choice of pump based on user and cost requirements. Dynamic II or Dynamic Lite Pump are available.

‘Whisper Quiet’ pump operation to minimise patient disturbance.
Designed for infection control and easy maintenance
Antimicrobial, waterproof, multi-stretch cover is easy to clean, feature welded seams and handles, cable management conduits and 360° zip for easy removal of top cover.
